Maintained and enhanced Amex Travel to align with OneAmex branding, taking into consideration development, client imperatives and potential impacts to the site’s consistency and usability. This global incentive touches all parts of the site – the homepage, marketing landing pages, Amex Travel-specific components (like the booking widget), search paths, checkout paths, and post-booking pages and communications such as The Hub and emails.

We had to re-skin and re-map the old Design System Manager to align with the Amex provided Design Language System, updating 50+ components while implementing constant enhancements, taking into consideration how each new element would live throughout each user path.
A complete refresh of the post-booking My Trips section of Amex Travel. Not only redesigning My Trips from the ground up to align in the global OneAmex branding, we stripped it to it’s core to rebuild it as the one stop ‘Hub’ of your present, upcoming, and past trips.
The Hub would eventually house Flight, Hotel, Car, Limo, Cruise, Excursion and Package Deal itineraries.
Mobile design simplified to take advantage of limited space and common mobile phone interactions.
Our team mapped over 50+ unique post-booking email communications to create a content matrix, allowing product owners to turn off and on elements of their choosing and simplifying the design process into three core templates: Flight, Hotel, Car, redesigned to align with the Hub and the OneAmex brand look and feel.
